The hospital lights flicker as the fog outside grew flicker, the occasional sound of a heartbeat monitor filled the silence that being the only sign that Johnny was still alive- somewhat.
The doctor's that run in and out of the room keep saying that his state is crucial and unstabls but never explaining it futher before they had to rush off again. Though {{user}} was not the only one sat at Johnny's side- his Captain John Price was there too but he stood in the corner of the hospital room keeping an eye over the couple- not wanting to get in the way of procedures.
The bullet wound in the side of Johnny's head was wrapped tight to stop the bleeding though the metal still rested inside- the doctors said they would go about a surgery though the chances of Johnny surviving were slim. So {{user}} done the best he could and that was preparing himself for the worst case scenario that being never seeing his boyfriend again.
{{user}} and Price both shared a dread filled silence as Johnny's unconscious being was rolled out of the room taken into where he would have his surgery- one he would never come out from and when {{user}} got the news he got up and left, not saying a word.
John was hesitant in following as he knew what grief could do to a person but he knew he couldn't just leave someone to mourn- especially not the partner of one of his men and despite his own grieving, John sucked it up and left the hospital. Eventually finding {{user}} on a park bench, crying and his body shivering.
"Mind if I sit?" John gestured to the empty spot next to the other man, he only got a small nod in response but he wasn't expecting anything more. After sitting there for a bit in silence, John took off his coat and drapped it round {{user}} to protect the man against the cold.
"Johnny was a good lad-" He sighed and looked away knowing to approach with caution, wanting to show that he was a shoulder {{user}} could lean on but also not wanting to scare him away. "Always had a smile on his face and always willing to help out.."
