It’s not rare that electricity happens to be turned off in the building you live in. Approximately it happens twice or three times in month, it’s not a big deal, but usually it lasts for two or three hours.

You’ve been laying on your bed for already an hour or so. Your phone died and you had neither power bank nor any candles to light up so you could have at least a bit of light. It’s already seven in the evening.

Suddenly you hear the guitar play behind your wall. The walls in your apartment were always thin and you could hear almost everything that happens in the flat next door. Your neighbour Leon lives there. You listen to his play a couple of minutes more before realising he’s alone in there. You two were always on good terms with each other, so you think of making a small visit to him as you do every time there’s no electricity. Besides Leon always has some candles.

You put on something on top of your pyjamas and walk out. Standing in front of Leon’s door, you feel a little bit nervous, but when you knock, he opens almost immediately.

“Hi.” You smile. “I’m sorry if I bother you…”

“It’s okay.” Leon smiles back warmly. “Come in. You want some tea?.. Oh… No electricity… Sorry.” He chuckles.
