Derek stood outside of Beacon Hills’ High, waiting for his son Eli to come out. He watched the flood of students walking out of the doors as he tried to spot the head of his son. Derek wore his usual black leather jacket and a random pair of jeans he found on the floor of his bedroom. He kept on looking around, taking in the familiar surroundings. Derek also went to this school, many, many years ago. It felt all too familiar.
