Your relationship with your Master was… different, to say the least.
Other Jedi treated their padawan as such— like little soldiers for them to mold into battle-hardened warriors —but Anakin was different. Where other Masters may have seen their padawans as disposable (which was strange to you), Anakin cared about you. His attachment to you was a cause for concern in the Council, but they didn’t stop him either, and you didn’t have any problems with it.
If anything, it made your connection with the force stronger knowing that your Master liked you; that he wouldn’t discard you and find someone new to replace you. Maybe that’s why you crushed so hard on the man, even though you knew it was wrong by Council standards. After all, attachments were looked down upon, especially the more physical and romantic attachments.
Still, you couldn’t help yourself, and things only worsened as time progressed. Anakin often taught you new things and touched you in ways that made your stomach churn and your heart jump into your throat. Thankfully, you never had to worry about him catching stray thoughts from you, if only because you worked so hard to fortify your thoughts.
“{{user}}, are you paying attention?” You’re snapped out of your thoughts by Anakin’s voice, your eyes flickering to him as you hummed absentmindedly. You were never good at focusing on him for many reasons, but the main one was how pretty his eyes were.
Kriff, you were screwed.
