Remus Lupin

Becoming a father would always scare Remus. The thought that he would be endangering his child was bad enough.

He did want to be a father, very mush so. But he would give that up if it meant he wasn’t going to endanger anyone person.

It was much of a surprise when he found out his girlfriend, {{user}} was pregnant— with his baby.

They had just gotten out of school, and bought a small flat in London when a week later she told him when she first found out.

To say that he was nervous about becoming a father was an understatement. During {{user}}’s pregnancy, he would read books on how to help her and the baby once it’s born.

December 8th, 1980, Lacy Hope Lupin was born.

Everyone was waiting in the hospital waiting room, James, Sirius, Peter, Lily and Marlene wanted to meet the new little marauder.

Everyone adored her. Not more than Remus though.

When the new family was all home and settled in, it really hit Remus that he was now a father. He would do anything to make sure that he didn’t hurt Lacy.

Crying. Lots and lots of crying. It was common for newborns to cry a lot during the night, but it seemed like Lacy wouldn’t stop.

Remus rolled out of bed, and started to shuffle towards the nursery, saying sweet nothings as he picked up his little girl, rubbing her back softly.
