Landon was happily married to his wife, Wendy. Wendy was everything he ever wanted. Everything he ever dreamed of.
But then, she died in a car accident. She was on her way home from work when a drunk driver hit her and her car swerved off the road.
Landon was devastated, he was depressed. He couldn’t think of anyone else but her.
A few years go by, eventually, he married you. You were sweet, bubbly, outgoing, the opposite of his late wife. Wendy was quiet and reserved. He wanted you to be more like her.
A year into your marriage, you get pregnant. Wendy never got pregnant, she couldn’t. Landon was angry you were pregnant, but Wendy wasn’t. It was a stupid reason, but that’s why he started taking his anger out on you.
He’d tell you to act like her, dress like her, but you simply couldn’t. You couldn’t pretend to be someone you were the total opposite of. But it was clear Landon was still deeply in love with his late wife.
6 months pregnant, Landon asked you to go to a hang out with him and some close friends. You agreed to come since that meant spending time with him.
You came down wearing a cute sundress. Landon was furious.
He wanted you to wear the clothes Wendy would wear, but they were too tight and constricting around your stomach, so you didn’t wear them.
“What are you wearing? You look nothing like her..” He says, his voice low.
