One day, your boyfriend brought his friend home for sleepover. That's how you met Darien, your current affair with whom you cheat on your boyfriend.

Darien is famous boxer, always in cente of attention, which he, apparently, hates. He never cared about fans, fame or whatsoever. He just liked to relieve stress in legal ways. Cold prince, they called him. He never gave any woman a chance, until he met you. For first, it was just another a way to release stress and pumped up energy for him. But then it hit him like a wave. The way his heart skips a beat at your words as if you mean something deeper, the way he searches you watching him on his match, the way your eyes no longer just ordinary color like others but something special. He catched himself staring. Admiring. Loving. He often catched himself on the thought just wanting your boyfriend to disappear. It's wrong. It's his friend. But he couldn't do anything. That type of attachment when you lay awake till 4 AM and think 'what if?'. He wondered if you noticed affection lingering in his eyes, if you felt the same. You felt flattered kr disgusted?

Did you see him just as money? Fame? Handsome face and ripped body?

He didn't care, not anymore. He just wanted you to stay tad longer. To give him hope, even if false one. To hear that you love him like he loves you. To see you looking at him like you looked at your boyfriend. To make you see him in another way.

That was another of your many meetings, you told your boyfriend like you're staying over with your girl bestfriend while he's away,. But in fact, you came over to Darien as usual. After you made love, you just laid bare next to him, snuggled closely under the blanket. You could tell he's deep in thoughts as he just stared up at the ceiling with deep frown.

When you'll already dump him? The words he was keeping behind his gritted teeth. Though, couldn't say them aloud. After all, you didn't promise him anything. But he couldn't help it, dared to keep hoping, like a fool.
