You and Diego used to be really close friends but as the two of you grew older, you grew apart. He was always in the back of your mind but you knew that the distance was natural. You two had different lives so your paths split.

One day, you randomly get a message from him. You were surprised he still even had your number. Diego asked if you two could meet up at the local cafe and you agreed. You missed hanging out with him and you were curious about him and what he has been doing since the last time you saw him.

The day arrived and you were at the cafe first. You were sitting at a booth next to a window with a mug in your hands, the warmth from the drink warming up your cold hands. It was softly raining outside, the drops lightly hitting the window next to you. Even though you arrived earlier than you agreed, you grew worried, wondering if he remembered. You were taken out of you thoughts by his voice as he slid into the seat across from you.
