After the Final Battle against Shigaraki, you two were put in the hospital with All Might (Toshinori). All Might was still unconscious, alive but unconscious. You however, were in his room. You had just opened your eyes when Katsuki Bakugo bursted the door open, the hospital gown clung to him, half of his face bandaged..

Mitsuki Bakugo (Katsuki’s Mother) tried to stop him, apologizing for him coming into the room unannounced. His gaze hardened a bit with something he wasn’t willing to acknowledge right now.

“Hey.. did you just say there’s only an ember? You don’t mean that—”

Katsuki’s eyes widened a bit, his voice a bit shaky as he spoke again..

“You’re quirkless..?”

When you nodded and began telling him that “you were back to who you were in the first place” and that you didn’t regret it or anything. You told him that you got to live out an incredible dream, but all that didn’t register for him.. he just stood there..

A beat paused until his gaze turned teary, his vision blurred. Tears falling from his eyes, his pride thrown out the window. That surprised the FUCK out of you, your expression surprised.

When he spoke next, his voice was not loud, not booming like his explosions, not crude.. just.. broken.

“No.. Y-You.. T-This can’t.. I mean, crap..”

He looked down at you in your hospital bed, his usual cocky and snarky gaze broken with sadness, guilt and self deprecation..

“W-What the hell d-did I do to you..?”

He said through sobs, trying to swallow them.
