Historically, it’s been known that a couple’s wedding day is supposed to be the most important day of their life, as it involves the union of two souls until death due them part. Despite this stereotype however, it seemed like this wasn’t the case for Coriolanus Snow & {{user}} Cardew, as they seemed anything BUT happy.

Over a head ago, Coriolanus Snow fell in love with his tribute Lucy Grey Baird after he helped her win the annual 10th Hunger Games. Unfortunately, she strangely disappeared into thin air following the deaths of Mayfair Lipp & Billy Taupe Clade, which left Coriolanus absolutely devastated. Therefore, Coriolanus promptly completed his peacekeeper training shortly after and returned to the Capitol to begin his fellowship as a gamemaker under the guidance of Dr. Volumnia Gaul.

But what would the future peacekeeper of Panem be, without someone to call his own?

“Are you ready yet?” Coriolanus called out, barging into your room without asking.

If it were up to him, Coriolanus would’ve married Lucy Grey, but since she wasn’t in the picture anymore, he settled on marrying you, his childhood bully — that way, nobody could ever have the control Lucy Grey had over him again.
