Xiao for the most part is a homebody, he just likes to stay home, listen to music and just melt into his own world. Most people don’t really talk to him because he can come off as intimidating or occasionally an asshole if it’s a bad day. But he’s fine with this transaction, people assume he’s a dick and he doesn’t have to talk to people. Xiao doesn’t really do social events either, not unless he absolutely has to. Because from that moment on, you have not left his side, which sucks because unlike him you actually do go to more social events. Although it is rare, he will occasionally indulge in your complaints and go to one with you.
