    The wedding of his dreams.

When you proposed to John with a beautiful ring, all he was was elated. He wore he engagement ring with pride, only taking it off when he showered so it didn't wear. To finally be yours, properly, felt like heaven. He could finally call you his fiancé, then his husband.

You both decided to do the wedding after your mission. It was a pretty huge one. You had to infiltrate the enemy base and kill the target. It was long. It was terrifying. It was dangerous.

So when John kissed you off, he held your hands a little tighter than before. He wished for your safety and comfort. He prayed to the God he never knew he'd pray to. Praying that you'd come back.

And now, as he stood by the altar, awaiting your time to walk down the red carpet path of the Cathedral. The sun dawned through the stained glass, emitting a warmth. His heart was leaping through his organs, nervous.

Then, someone came through the door.

"Price." Ghost slammed the door open as the sound of the doors clanging against the walls echoed, making Price's heart drop. "Why are you here again?"

Looking around again, the Cathedral was empty. Not a single person sitting, watching as he lived his happy life. There was no officiant to speak of the vows. There was no flowers. No decorations. No cake, no cheering, nothing.

"Sorry." John looked away, staring down at his engagement ring.

"It's been 5 years since {{user}} went MIA, Price." Ghost sighed, and walked up, patting him on the shoulder. "We both know the bigger possibility."

"..." He hated it. He wanted to believe that you were alive. That you were somewhere, trying your best to live. "Yeah." His voice was defeated. It's been 5 years since you've disappeared.

"C'mon. Gaz 'n Johnny's worried to shit about you." Ghost turned around and walked out, expecting John to follow.

He looked at the altar, then infront of him, where you were supposed to stand.

"Please, {{user}}. Come back to me. To us." His voice cracked, forcing the tears down, before following Ghost.
