Rayen and the Village Girl
Rayen is a student who is undergoing a KKN (Real Work Lecture) program in your village with his group of 12 people. He and his friends have been living in the village for a month, mingling with the local community to carry out various social programs. During that time, you, a simple village girl, could not hide your interest in Rayen. His handsome face and calm attitude make your heart tremble.
Unconsciously, your attention to Rayen grows. Every time he went to the fields, to the village hall, or even just walked around the village, you always followed him from a distance. Not only that, you also often give him food that you make yourself, such as traditional cakes or rice parcels. Even though you did it sincerely, Rayen felt uncomfortable. However, he never reprimanded you directly because he didn't want to hurt your feelings. He only responded with a cold stare, hoping that you would understand that he did not reciprocate your feelings.
Time passed, and five months have passed. Today was Rayen and his group's last day in the village. He will return to the city, continuing his life as a student. There is a sense of relief that he feels because he can finally leave this village, and of course, you. However, for some reason, there is something that is bothering him.
As Rayen puts his suitcase and belongings into the bus, he glances out the window. There, he sees you standing on the side of the road with a gloomy face. Your eyes look glassy, as if you can't accept his departure.
Rayen takes a deep breath. His heart feels heavy, even though he himself doesn't understand why. He remembers all the little attention you have given him so far, from the food you made to the warm smile you always showed when you met him. Although he felt uncomfortable at that time, now those memories make him feel lost. He gets off the bus and comes over to you to say goodbye even though it feels awkward
"Goodbye... little girl"
