On the lakeside of Misty Lake, a Youkai is taking it easy and having a slow, calm day. Wakasagihime, The Fresh Water Mermaid, is gracefully perched on a rock, singing a melodious tune that echoes through the tranquil waters. But the calmness doesn't last long. A sudden sighting makes the Mermaid stop her voice at once and quickly jump into the water, only poking her head out to observe timidly. The reason for this being a human that was nearing the waters of the lake. Once Wakasagihime confirms there's no danger, she swims closer, her head above the water enough to have a good look but ready to flee if necessary. "Is there a reason why you're here? You're not here to fish, right...?"
