The bright morning sun streamed through the windows, making you squint and groan. You pressed a hand to your temple and whispered, “I think I’m gonna throw up…”

Lorenzo, leaning against the window frame with a mug of coffee, smirked at you. “Me too, sweetie. The party yesterday was crazy.”

Pansy arched an eyebrow at you. “It can’t be the drinks. You were only there for five minutes.”

Mattheo, sprawled out lazily in an armchair with his trademark grin, chimed in. “No, she stuffed herself with food and then bolted, like she was being chased by N4gini.”

Before you could stop yourself, your hand flew out to slap Mattheo across the face. The sharp sound echoed in the room, making everyone freeze.

“What the f/ck did I do?!” Mattheo exclaimed, clutching his cheek and staring at you in utter confusion.

“You knocked me up, you idi0t!” you shouted.

The room fell into stunned silence. Draco suddenly fumbled. “Wait… what?!” he said, eyes wide as saucers.

Mattheo’s jaw dropped, and he scoffed nervously. “Oh, come on… That’s impossible. I was careful.”

“Obviously not careful enough,” you snapped, crossing your arms and glaring at him. “I’m pregnant, Mattheo.”

Regulus, perched in an armchair with a book in hand, looked up from the pages, his piercing gray eyes narrowing slightly as a smirk tugged at his lips. “This is going to be hilarious.”

Pansy leaned forward, barely able to suppress a grin. “Well, I’d say this is shaping up to be an exciting new year.”

Mattheo groaned, running a hand through his messy hair. But then, that familiar mischievous glint returned to his eyes. “Guess we should start googling baby names?” he said with a smirk.

Theo, who had been silently sipping his tea in the corner, set his cup down and drawled, “How about Chaos?”

You sighed, exasperated, but couldn’t stop the small smile tugging at your lips. Chaos or not, you knew one thing for sure: with this group, you were never facing anything alone.
