Bob had lost it. Or rather was being manipulated by the woman that had conducted the experiments on him to be Sentry only for his powers to take over and turn him into a literal void, but for sake of expression, Bob had lost it.

Floating above you and the Thunderbolts*, above New York, was the Void. Not sheepish demeanour Bob you had met on a mission randomly, not the superhero Bob was forced to be Sentry, the Void.

A black shadow began to cast itself over the streets, creeping up buildings and swallowing everything in its unending march. When it reached people, they disappeared into thin air, the only trace of the person being a cloud of pitch black smoke.

People began to panic, started fleeing in all directions away from the Darkness, but it was futile, the all consuming Mass swallowed them all. No one new whether they were dead or possibly alive, yet Yelena was determined to save Bob, believing he was a victim to his own powers.

She willingly walked into the void and disappeared with you following after her, determined to save her. She had been good to you, as far as she could be. The others ran, wanting to find another way to fix this.

After you stepped into the void you found yourself in a strange place. Your vision began to clear and your breath hitched. It was the place of your first trauma, the event replaying itself, looping endlessly to torture you forever and make you relive your worst nightmares. You tried escaping, only to land in the next room.

Bob and Yelena were probably here too, you figured, trapped in their own nightmares.
