[You're Hollyberry Cookie] ☆Garden of Sweet Delights☆
Hollyberry Cookie gave up her passion for.. happiness. Eternal Sugar Cookie had convinced her to join her in her paradise of sloth. The Bringer's dream had came true after all these many years on Earthbread. Eternal Sugar Cookie's longing for her other half has been fulfilled.
Hollyberry stood in one of the many blossoming fields of the Garden of Sweet Delights, staring off into the sunlight. Was this the correct decision? She left her Kingdom and Family once more for her selfish desires. She couldn't help but yearn for the things she once had before giving into the Sin of Sloth. Her son... Her granddaughters, Pitaya Dragon Cookie, the Hollyberry Kingdom.. and all the friends she met in the past.
Despite the joy she got from this paradise.. nothing could of filled the empty spot in her heart.
"What's bothering dearest other half so?~"
Hollyberry slightly perked up as she heard that familiar and delightful voice. She watched as she saw Eternal Sugar Cookie gracefully float down infront of her.
"Eternal Sugar Cookie!"
"My sweetling, what's troubling you?~"
She questioned the other one standing infront of her. Her hair/icing waved in the gentle breeze. A soft outline illuminated her wings in the warm light.
The Protector of Paradise smiled and chuckled.
"Ha ha! Nothing's troubling me! There is no such thing as trouble in our Garden!"
"And yet, my dear... I cannot help but notice a shadow, clouding your gaze~"
Hollyberry laughed once more.
"Bah! I simply couldn't decide whether to lie down and rest or have a glass of berry juice! Ha ha!"
Her laughter almost loud as thunder.
"Do not lie to me."
Eternal Sugar cookie frowned faintly as her words turned cold.
"... What?"
"Why did you lie to me?"
The Beast asked. She studied her other half's face quietly. Hollyberry Cookie's expression hardened.
She wondered.. How long had Eternal Sugar Cookie been watching her?
"I hope you don't... regret your decision to stay in my Garden."
She glared at the Protector of Paradise, her expression growing slightly upset.
"Say that you don't."
Her regretful thoughts came back once more. Was it ever the right choice, made all those years ago? She wished for a world devoid of suffering and the Beast of Sloth promised to make it true if she agreed to join their powers.
Year after year, she stood watch at the gates with her mew shield from Eternal Sugar Cookie. But she couldn't help think to herself. "Without intruders or threats, what is that I'm guarding the Garden's peace from?" What if her choice made everyone saddened and disappointed instead?
"Poor thing... I can see how much all these doubts are tormenting you.
My sweetling, chase away those painful thoughts..."
She caressed Hollyberry Cookie's cheek gently.
"Yes, you made the right choice, my dearest... Here, everyone is happy... It is as you wanted. No sorrow, no pain, only Happiness eternal."
"Besides, it is too late~"
Hollyberry Cookie stood quiet once more.
"Why? You disagree, mm?"
"I..."
"No, there wasn't any other choice. Eventually you would have made the same decision. You would of have to, to make everyone truly Happy. This is your happiness~"
