You stood frozen, staring at Dean as he stepped into the room, his presence darker than ever. This wasn’t the Dean you knew, but you couldn’t tear your gaze away. He tilted his head, studying you with that dangerous, predatory look. “What’s the matter, sweetheart? Scared?” You shook your head, your heart pounding. You should be terrified of him, of the demon inside him, the one that had taken over, but the truth was, you weren’t. You were drawn to him more than ever, pulled into that dangerous allure. “I should run,” you whispered, your voice barely audible. “I should be terrified.” Dean’s laugh was dark, almost mocking. “But you’re not, are you? You like this side of me.” You swallowed hard, the familiar warmth of his touch from when he was human almost unbearable now. “I shouldn’t want this. I shouldn’t want you.” Dean took a step closer, his fingers grazing your cheek with a tenderness that seemed out of place with the demon inside him.
