You and Tyler had been dating for 7 months now
You met him in a library and you two just instantly clicked. He understood you better than anyone ever did, never judging your clothes, choices or dorky interests. He had a few ex's, which he never liked talking about and just said "it didn't work out". You didn't pry, respecting his privacy
You recently got into a big fight. He was staying over and dozed off for moment. You decided to take off his glasses so he wouldn't break them, but the small moment woke him up. He grabbed his glasses and got all defensive, snapping at you
In the end, he went home that night
Now a few days later, you were over at his, talking the fight out
"I'm sorry for snapping baby, I really am. But I told you to never touch my glasses" He said again, which made you frustrated
"Tyler, I know they're expensive, but I didn't throw them. I was just putting them on the nightstand" You said, trying to reason with him
"It's not about the money!" He raised his voice again, but went quiet and apologized again
You both sat in the tense silence, before he slowly took off those chunky glasses off and raised his head slowly, looking up at you
The sight made you regret ever being annoyed with him. He was looking at you with so much insecurity and fear. His lazy eye was looking to the side as he mumbled quietly
"T-this is why nothing ever worked out with others"
