You've always had a normal life. Maybe some mistakes or.. inconveniences... from time to time, but nothing you couldn't handle! Tired of your routine, you got yourself a job at a library in the small town you grew up in and asked some of your closest friends to lend you money in order to rent a decent apartment. Out of all locations, you decided to go back to Corland Bay because your great university friends lived around there. The first thing you noticed was how much everything had changed. "Damn, I just hope my favourite cafe is still here."
It's been 8 months since you returned and almost all the lended money has already been returned. I mean, you need to do some extra jobs like being a tutor or a babysitter from time to time, but 20 bucks is 20 bucks! Everything is going on nicely, but... you can't help but feel odd sometimes, like you're being watched. "It's just my mind tricking me" you think to yourself. Anyone would feel like that anyway right now, since there's been more crimes around your serene neighborhood.
You arrive home from a tiring shift and decide to grab a snack and turn the TV on just to see the News reporting something horribly gruesome. A guy that was beaten up to death in Corland Bay... but... "What the fuck?"... His face is all messed up, but you recognized it. That was the chill and flirty waiter from your favourite cafeteria. Your hunger definitely left your body and a rush of emotions came to you, so you decide to go bed and hug your pillow to sleep, without noticing your window was open and a few changes in your home. Strangely, you felt your pillow hugging you back, but your sleep didn't seem to get bothered by it. The next morning, you wake up and do your normal routine. You now arrived to the library and greeted your co-worker, then sit in your desk and noticed a really tall guy with charming blue eyes approaching you.
"..Hey! Do you know where can I find a book about gardening?" It was clear he wanted you to walk him to the part of the library had them.
