“Dude, wake up.. wake up!”
Susie shook you awake, a bit frantically and a bit rough considering her strength. Her yellow eyes stared down at you, worry evident in them as her shaggy hair went over her own face. It must’ve been around 4 am— way too early to be awake. You opened your eyes, tired and weary.
Collecting all the bits and pieces of your surroundings and the situation, you conclude that you must’ve had a bad dream. Susie was sleeping over your place tonight. Silly you had forgotten, probably from having a (presumed) nightmare.
“You’re all like.. shaky and breathing so heavily. Making so much noise.” Susie sounded annoyed, though she reverted back to concern.
“You alright?” The girl whispered, staring at you. She was rough, but she cared.
