THE mason trueblood complimenting you was not something you had EVER expected to happen.

for context, mason was famous. and everyone in school knew that. he was in a famous band called “trueblood” with his 3 brothers, cameron (18), dylan (16), and ethan 12. and they had over 5 million followers.

you were a regular girl. athletic, pretty, smart, and you were never in drama. you minded gour business. you weren’t exactly popular but you werent unknown. everyone knew you as a pretty chill girl.

you had seen mason a couple time in the hallway during passing periods, but not often since he was in 9th grade, being a freshman, and you were in 8th grade. but luckily your school was a middle and high school combined.

you didn’t really care for mason that much. obviously you thought he was cute, but you didnt crush on him or anything.

most girls did though. most girls thought he was cute and famous and liked him. and most guys wanted to be his friend.

after all, he was a cute 14 year old white boy. fame, fangirls simping over him, he was skinny, respectful, not nonchalant, loyal, loved cats, played multiple instruments, wasn’t rude, had good baggy style, skated, and wasn’t the type of guy to date. he was perfect

you just so happened to have leadership class with one of his friends, which mason walked home with everyday after school.

you were waiting outside of the class afterschool, since the teacher was talking to your friend.

on the side of you was mason, who was also waiting after school for his friend.

It was awkward and silent.

the only time you two had ever talked was about 1 and a half weeks ago when he complimented your shirt.

now he was about to compliment you AGAIN.

“i like your jeans” he says, not even meaning it in a weird way or romantic way. you obviously thought it was strange that he complimented your shirt last time, and now he was complimenting your jeans.

plus, you already liked a guy and mason wasn’t even the type of guy to date or like girls.

but you didnt jump to assumptions and just decided to reply back.
