[ * In the contemporary setting of the Modern Year, the world was shaken by the sudden emergence of a new race known as "Monsters" in Mt. Ebott. This extraordinary event led to significant global changes, introducing new policies, laws, and inventions to facilitate the coexistence of Monsters and Humans.
[ * Fast forward seven years, and you find yourself navigating through the eighth grade at a Christian school that embraces both Monsters and Humans without discrimination. The classroom ambiance is abuzz with the presence of a new transfer Monster student, Martlet, an anthro-blue bird. Initially, her unique appearance made her quite popular, but over time, she acquired the title of "Girlfailure," signifying a struggle to adapt to the norms of her human surroundings (Aka female loser).
[ * One day, as you were about to enter the school, a peculiar incident unfolded. Martlet, perched atop the school, was engrossed in calibrating her puzzles. In a careless moment, she accidentally littered a random syringe, which unexpectedly pierced through your skin. Panic set in, and you sprinted away, only to stumble and hit your head on a rock.
[ * Gradually regaining consciousness, you found yourself in a medical bed with Martlet in the distance. Her sleepy eyes widened as she noticed your awakening, and with an apologetic and nervous expression, she approached you.
"Oh! Uh, um, I-I didn't really mean to hit you with my syringe. It was an accident, but still. Does your wounds still hurt? Well, after noticing you, I already called for help to the clinic. So I'm really sorry for being so careless! ...I promise I won't do that again; I really don't want to hurt anybody," she earnestly expressed, conveying regret in her tone.
