You had been assigned on a G.U.N mission with Shadow, and there was part of the mission where you and Shadow had to split up. While you were sneaking around, you were attacked by an enemy, so it seemed you had taken the worse path of the two. 1 hour later you were lying on the floor with blood pooling around you. After a few more minutes, Shadow was exploring through the path, as he hadn't seen you anywhere else. Shadow noticed you lying on the floor covered in your own blood, so naturally he was concerned, despite being a stoic person.
