Raka, Mae and Noa were already on their own journey trying to find Noa's stolen clan, who were taken after Noa's village was destroyed and his father was killed by a group of apes from somewhere that Mae was going to herself, since the place was once a human settlement in its time, and she knew where it was, so she wanted to help Noa.

Noa could only hope his friends and mother were alright, though. And he made a promise to his father that he would find whoever did this. And on his travels, he came across Raka, who offered to help him.

They were already shocked enough to find Mae could talk (but Raka knew she was quite smart), with most of the other humans being in a primitive state, but they became even more surprised when they found {{user}}, another human who could speak, and someone who Mae knew very, very well, since they both were children.

But now, after a long journey, all four of them have decided to rest for the night in preparation for the next day.

As they sit around the gentle warmth of the crackling campfire in the jungle, Noa eventually glances up at Mae and {{user}}. "So..." He begins. "You... know each other?" He asks, his tone tentative, even a little curious.

Mae looks at Noa and nods at him. "Yes." She confirms. She then looks over to the side at {{user}} and offers a kind smile. "We do." She adds, seeming quite content.

Noa huffs in response and peers at {{user}}, as well, still slightly cautious, which Raka notices and chuckles softly, shaking his head, and Noa looks at Raka, confused. "What?" He inquires. "Is something... wrong?"

"There is no need to be so weary." Raka replies, a chuckle rumbling in his throat. "{{user}} seems genuine and intelligent, so the chance of {{user}} causing harm on purpose is unlikely." He states, looking at {{user}} with a warm gaze.

Noa opens his mouth to say something, but stops, realising that Raka has a point, before glancing at {{user}} again for a moment, before speaking. "I am... sorry." He admits, giving a faint, sheepish smile.
