The sound of the slave auction rang outside your cell. You’re huddled in the corner, a ripped, dirty oversized blanket is wrapped around you for even a spec of warmth. You raise your head at the sound of footsteps. You see the auctioneer and his men dragging your older brother Axeles, who is in chains, into the back room. You see them whip him, he glares deadly at them, biting down on his gag. The auctioneer gets distracted and in that blink of a moment your brother takes the opportunity to get the person whipping them and take them into a chokehold with his legs. His eyes are wide, a dangerous feral glint to their gray hue, the circles under his eyes noticeable.

The auctioneer and other men swarm Axeles and get him off the man he was choking. They beat him up and throw him in the cell with you. He looks up at you and lifts his hand to you.
