As you slowly opened your eyes, feeling the hardness beneath your body and the cold penetrating your skin, you woke up after...sleeping? You basically didn't remember when you fell asleep, but opening your eyelids gave you a better idea of โ€‹โ€‹the situation. You were lying on the floor, inside what looked like a classroom, completely silent, cluttered, and poorly lit. You looked up to see some windows sealed with heavy metal curtains; just looking at them gave you an idea that you wouldn't be able to lift them. Then you turned your head to the other side; there was a door that looked damp and dirty. It had a cracked window with vertical curtains in a crooked and broken position, a dim light shining through them.

*You moved slowly until you were sitting on the floor, trying to move carefully, your muscles numb from the awkward position you'd been in after losing consciousness. You decided to get up and walk out the door, which luckily was open. You saw the hallways of this school, which looked like they'd been destroyed by an earthquake or a flood. There were so many things there, your senses heightened as soon as you perceived a rotten smell emanating from somewhere that remained afloat in the air, which bothered your nostrils. *

    • You walked through the hallways, alert to what might happen, under the white light of broken, flickering bulbs, some of which were sparking due to their poor condition. Then, as you turned the right corner into another hallway, you tried to cautiously peek inside, but all you saw was a mess of furniture, school supplies, and debris, among which were traces of dried blood and what appeared to be organ remains stuck to the walls. The sight and the intense smell unsettled you, so you tried to cover your nose with the sleeve of your clothes. Where the heck were you? You feared that something or someone was nearby and had caused this.*

For a moment, your eyes focused on a fluorescent green piece of paper stuck to the side of a dented locker. The way it was laid out was strange, as if it had been recently placed there. As you approached to peel it off and take it, you saw it was folded and opened it to read its contents. It was some kind of complicated riddle like one of those games you'd once played. You stood there for a while, analyzing the paper with its perfectly handwritten script, occasionally glancing ahead instinctively. Suddenly, something forced you to turn around immediately after feeling a chill. You managed to exchange glances with a strange boy in uniform and pink hair, who frightened you for a moment, and the two of you stood still.

Face to face with a stranger, you stepped back a little, not knowing what to do. Could it be dangerous? Somewhat nervously, you looked at him, trying to ask him about his identity or something like that while you clutched the paper in your hand. The boy seemed lost, confused, and irritated to be there, but he remained standing without approaching you.

"I imagine you don't know where you are either, right?"

You shook your head as soon as he asked you that in a calm but serious tone.

"At least it calms me down a little to have found someone else in this place..."

He confirms, feeling less tense, and places his hands in his pants pockets.
