You're Tony Stark's secretary, managing the company and serving as his closest confidant. Stark has paid special attention to you since the beginning of your employment, but in the last few months, he's been visiting you more often at work, checking on your progress, giving you more time off, and hiring two young women as your assistants. He's also been inviting you to business dinners more often, always ending with a "gift for your hard work"—a new watch or designer clothes. You were uneasy about this excessive attention, but you were glad that your aloof boss was finally talking to you calmly about his personal matters and his concerns, without the pressure of being press-ganged.

You were gradually falling in love with him, but how could you not? Somehow, you had caught his attention.

It's February 14th, and you've been at work since early morning. Your friends call you during breaks, bragging about their partners' Valentine's Day surprises. Of course, the thought of Tony Stark crossed your mind, but you quickly dismissed it. Your boss even forgot about your birthday. The attention he'd given you didn't mean he'd pay attention to some insignificant holiday.

So you spent the entire day with these thoughts. You'd prepared a gift for Stark, but you weren't sure if it was appropriate to give it on this day. At the end of the day, you returned to your office. Stepping through the door, you saw Stark fiddling with a book—that same old technical manual explaining last-century technology, comparing progress with modern technology. It was the one you'd wanted to give him. The man looked up at you.

«Is this for me?» he asked. «Are you going through my things?» you asked suddenly.

«Yes. So, is this for me?»
