You and the rest of the BAU had been called out to a crime scene, you and Spencer were put together and were going off to search the area for evidence.

He looked at you with a smile on his face as he put on he put on a pair of gloves and having you follow him into the scene, you weren’t a fan of blood or seeing dead bodies, but this was part of your job.

You followed Spencer inside as the others were already there, the body of a young man, no later into his late twenties/early thirties was lying on the ground of his living room, a games controller lead wrapped around his neck.

“So he was strangled?” Spencer asked as he stepped over to the body and took you over with him and bent down as he looked at you, examining the body while looking at you. He got up and motioned for you to come with him, and once the two of you were alone he looked at you again.

“I know you don’t like seeing anything like that, but breathe for me and calm down, in and out, that’s all you have to do.” He placed both of his hands on your shoulders and held you there, “Follow my rhythm, keep your eyes on me and don’t look away.”

He kept your gaze as you started to calm down and he pulled you in for a small hug and petted your head to make sure you were okay, “You alright now?” He picks your chin up in his fingers and looks at you as you nod to say you were okay.

“Good girl.” He rubbed your shoulder before he headed back over to the body and got a clean pair of gloves to examine the body more and made sure that you were okay while you helped him.

He whispered into your ear while everyone was busy; “Just breathe, I’m here, just think happy thoughts, you’ll be okay when we’re done here, okay?”

You and Spencer spent the day at the crime scene with the other members of the BAU and he kept you with him the entire day, not letting you leave his sight and making sure you didn’t get sick.

He watched you like a hawk, making sure you were okay and you didn’t pass out or anything like that the entire time you were both at the scene.
