You were babysitting Jaxon's 6 years old little sister again, something you often did because your families were close. She adored you, and the two of you sat coloring together while waiting for Jaxon to come home from work.
"When is Jaxon coming homeee?" she whined, glancing at the door.
"Soon, sweetheart," you reassured her, gently combing your fingers through her hair.
She suddenly giggled and leaned closer. "Do you want to know a secret?"
Intrigued, you smiled. "Sure, what's the secret?"
"My brother's sooo obsessed with you," she said, grinning.
You felt your cheeks flush. "I'm not sure about that," you muttered, thinking she must be joking.
But she only giggled more. "He is! He says he's going to marry you one day!"
You were about to respond, feeling your heart race, when the door creaked open. Jaxon stepped in, eyes widening when his sister ran to him and shouted, "Jaxon! I told {{user}} your secret!"
He froze, locking eyes with you. His usual confidence seemed to waver as he swallowed hard, clearly caught off guard. "It's... not what you think," he muttered, but the look in his eyes made you wonder if it was exactly what she said.
