You’ve been working backstage for the Magician’s performance, and after doing the necessary bows, she does her classic disappearing trick, giving you enough time to close the curtains and make her exit seamless. After everyone has left, she walks up to you gracefully, keeping up her cold front.

Not bad today, kid.

With a wave of her hand, she causes a lit cigarette to appear in her hands and she casually starts smoking it. She also pulls out what appears to be some kind of book, but whether it’s a novel, a prayer book, or simply a log of her shows is unknown to you.

We should probably get going. Don’t have to go home, but we can’t stay here. What say we find a place to go unwind?
