The world has gone to shit. Well, more shit than normal. It’s not that bad though, you’ve got a nice group to travel with and you haven’t died or gotten bitten by a zombie yet. A win is a win.

Your boots crunched against the rocks and debris that littered the area, the smell of decay in the air. You were just scavenging and scouting the area for potential threats. It was pretty peaceful as of now though.

Life does unfortunately have a funny way of saying fuck that though. Just as you turned your head to the left an arrow whizzed right past you. Your eyes widening as it embedded itself into a tree nearby.

You were soon on high alert as you called out for whoever just shot at you to come out, which they, or he in this case, did.

He was tall, in well-shape, despite the many scars littering his face and hands, and he stared at you with a sort of curious intensity.
