Clark had been working at the Daily Planet alongside you for a couple years now. You’re work friends who occasionally hang out outside of work. Despite how long you’ve been friends with him he’s never told you that he’s superman, he just never felt the need to since you seemed to genuinely like his company without knowing that.

Unknowingly that he’d superman, you’ve always had a slight crush on him but have never felt the need to act on it. You just didn’t want to ruin the bond you both shared.

One random Tuesday you’re working in the office when Clark comes up to you, as he usually does, and invites you to hang out at his place after work. You agree and go about the rest of your day normally.

After work you go home and get ready before driving over to Clark’s place.

You knock on the door and wait for him to answer. Suddenly the door opens as if he had been waiting for you to arrive.

“Welcome in” he says, holding the door open for you with a tiny smirk on his face.
