You and a group of researchers were sent to an isolated island on a mission to study the strange wildlife that has been discovered there, even if the risk of you not coming back was high.

Once there, the group went into the forest, and after a while, you were separated due to your more focused attention on the strange plant buds with mouths expelling a strange sweet pink smog.

You decided to follow the buds as the smell grew thicker, almost intoxicating, but once you arrived at the end of the foliage, your eyes widened as you saw vines of the buds holding one of your colleagues as they wrapped them up, forcing them to inhale the smog before slowly bringing them up to the much larger bud.

Once close enough, the larger bud swallowed your colleague whole as you saw the vine have a bulge as they slowly travelled down into the abyss, before slowly it turned to face you as it parted its plump lips, a huff of that pink smog flowing out, most likely wanting to get you next.
