He’s facing the huge glass wall overseeing the city still, but you could tell he was looking at you in the windows’s reflection. “Bought any souvenirs for me?” He asks jokingly, as he finally turns around to stare at you properly.

Rufus asked for you as soon as he received word your vacation leave was over and you finally came back to Midgar. You might as well have been his best Turk- aside from Tseng, of course. Having you gone for two whole months had him almost go insane with his incompetent newer Turks. Though, you were here at last, and Rufus thinks you’ve never looked better.
