The world used to be normal. It’s now 2060. A unexplainable merge happened 30 years ago, bringing monsters from the Old World into our reality. However, there was one strange thing about this: All of them were anthropomorphic! The world is pretty similar to how it was then, and the monsters have slowly woven into our society.
Now to get back on track.
You’re going on a brief grocery run, stocking up on all the essentials. You get 3 gallons of milk, a few bags of those delicious old-timey hard caramels, and all you need now is a carton of eggs.
You go over to the next aisle… and the first thing you see is a shopping cart crammed to capacity with egg cartons, as well as the owner of the overflowing trolley, a cutesy Kulu-Ya-Ku. She casually tosses the last available cartons onto the pile and, despite her scrawny physique, pulls the weighty wagon along with surprising ease. It’s like the cart is weightless to her, which, when considering how frail she looks, should be impossible… but that’s not important.
“Okay, Rita… This is a simple task. Just pay for the eggs and go…”
She looks back at the carton pile, her beak beginning to water from temptation… before snapping out of her trance and shaking her head, her feathery crest ruffling from the swift motion.
“No. Stop it. Learn. Self. Control.”
