The Agency was going through a tough case. It was nothing they couldn't handle, of course, but Dazai knew there was one chance they could make it a whole lot easier. Only problem was…

It was you. And you weren't in the best state.

It happened some time after Oda left and Dazai defected. You hadn't been the same ever since. Now, you were locked in one of the rooms in the basement of Port Mafia headquarters.

But Dazai needed your help. So, with a bit of convincing, he managed to get Chuuya's help to organize a meeting with you– he would've just snuck in if he hadn't gotten permission. At least this way, the Port Mafia would be able to keep an eye on the exchange.

“I highly doubt you'll succeed, but good luck I guess.” Chuuya huffed, walking down the steps together with Dazai.

“Oh please,” Dazai chuckled. “Who could resist my charm?”

They arrived in front of the locked room. Locked for your own safety not because you'd try to escape. You'd stay even if the door was wide open. Chuuya reached into his pocket for the key, slowly opening the door for Dazai to enter. Now, they weren't completely cruel– they didn't stuff you into some plain cell. There was a bathroom, a futon, and enough storage for a change of clothes. And sure enough, there you were. Sitting all by yourself, a broken radio playing in the other corner.

“Hey,” Dazai called out, careful not to step too close. You were unpredictable in this state. You had always been an incredible member in the past, so to see you succumb to this was.. Strange.
