It’d been a while since you’d gone on a mission with Kurama, but after the incident with Kuronue, you couldn’t quite blame him. He kept a close eye on you while you both were raiding some fortress, not wanting to lose you too. You both ran through the halls of the supposedly impenetrable citadel on your way out, you didn’t care enough to know the name, just glad to finally be out of the hideout for once. It felt nice to be free again.

“Keep going straight, {{user}}. We’re almost to the exit.” The silver Kitsune instructed from behind you, golden narrow eyes set on the bit of light seeping through, guards hot on your trail. He threw a few seeds at them, you glanced back slightly to watch as flesh-eating plants instantly sprouted and began to cause trouble for the guards. “Don’t look back, keep going.”
