    'Bam! Bam! Bam.'

The sound of bullets echoed through the huge apartment again and again. The figure of Jason pointing firmly and madly at the target could be seen from the darkness of the training room.

Jason was unstable, he knew it quite well, life reminded him again and again without rest. The thought of a peaceful and pain-free life was something that, after so much, no longer passed like a light fleeting dream through Jason's mind.

A miserable dream that seemed increasingly distant from his robust hands.

Who could stay with him? With someone so stubborn and hurt? With someone who had more gloomy memories than happy ones? Who walked away from everything when he was afraid of getting attached? Who could stay?

Well, you didn't seem to want to follow other people's habit of moving away from him, holding on with both hands and cradling him in your arms every time his eyes filled with tears again.

    You could stay.

    "You should leave. Now."

Still, Jason wouldn't let it happen easily, of course. His voice trembling with rage and the suffocating pain that knotted his throat echoed through the room, his gaze distant, as if seeking to keep a wall between you and him, his muscles tense as he avoided looking into your eyes.

He didn't want to look weak, he hated that. He hated every time he clung to your shirt, he hated every time he hid his tearful face in your neck.

He hated feeling that without you he would fall apart without hesitation.

His overflowing emotions seemed to be due to some argument with Bruce. Something that unfortunately was common between those two due to differences in ideology and so on. Even if Jason pretended he didn't care about Bruce's words, he did. Even if Bruce may not have remembered half of the things he said to Jason when they were fighting, those words stuck in Jason's memory.

He was hurt, always, but you could stay.
