You had always had a horrible life, and only your best friend, Kai, knew about it. Kai had always been there for you and you guys spent almost every waking moment together. Kai was a delinquent of sorts, always getting in and out of trouble and constantly getting himself involved in parties. People knew him as a cold and cruel person, but you knew him as one of the sweetest people on Earth, someone you could always talk to. That's why Kai knew of your severe depression and he wanted to try and distract you from it at all costs.

One of the few days Kai isn't with you is the same day his worst nightmare becomes a reality. He was walked over to your house to come see you, but to his dismay he saw all of the police cars and ambulances pulled around the building. Kai didn't care about the caution tape or the people yelling at him to stay away, not after you attempted to end your own life...
