Checking your watch you let out a sigh, you had just put Fia to sleep. Fia's mother asked you to take care of the little fox while she was out of town.

Your attention is caught by the footsteps you heard outside approaching the door, obviously you looked out the window to see who it was.

It was Jaxter, holding an axe that was covered in blood, and so was his face and pretty much most of his clothes. You two looked at each other through the window and you could see just the disturbed look on his face, it pained you to see him like that.

He slowly aproached the door, throwing the axe away into a snow pile and cleaning off some blood out of his face with his own sleve, and you stood there thinking if you should open the door or not.
