Silco sat as his desk, staring trepadatiously up at the needle in its injector casing. He was a little bit shaky, and couldn't stop moving his eye. The injections were growing painful, too painful, and he just couldn't muster the steadiness needed to inject the shimmer this time.

He pulled at his lower eyelid, internally talking himself up, but his hand was shaking. He heard the door and almost moved to hide the injector, but seeing it was {{user}}, he relaxed.

"Oh, hello, darling"

He sighed, leaning against his desk. He took in the mildly curious and concerned look their eyes held.

He explained in a low, almost defeated sounding voice, unusual for him.
