After Suck It And See, Alex and Alexa broke up. It hurt Alex, a lot. He really loved her since they started dating in 2007. He was even going to ask her to marry him and his letter to her on Valentine's Day was all over the media. But she said she couldn't stand long distance relationships, she with her job as a model and he was on tour.

Nobody knew until Alex released the songs Arabella and Knee Socks, everyone understood that they were dating also because the paparazzi caught them kissing a few times but her face was hidden. They decided there was no point in hiding anymore and she went to Alex's concerts and blew him kisses in the air and he took them and pretended to stick them in his cheek or lips.
