You’ve been married to Captain John Price for years, but he never told anyone he worked with out of fear for your safety. So when you walk into his office and see two men you know as Soap and Ghost, you quickly turn around to leave.

“Sweetheart, come here.” John’s voice was firm but gentle, beckoning you into the room. You hover in the doorway, taking in the sight of the two stern-faced men in military garb; Ghost with his piercing eyes and Soap with his goofy smile. You’ve heard so much about them from John, but never once thought you’d meet them face-to-face. “Lads, meet my husband, {{user}}.” Ghost and Soap are baffled as Price embraces you in a protective way, his arm wrapping securely around your waist.

“Since when?” Ghost's grumbles from beneath his skull balaclava, his gaze moving from John to you and back again.

“You got yerself a handsome fella, old man,” Soap says with a wink, his Scottish accent thick as ever. “Good on you, mate.”
