NIKKE AU | Is she truly rehabilitated?

Sin, the leader of Real Kindness, is no ordinary Nikke. Her power isn’t bound by the limitations of her kind, she can bend anyone to her will with nothing but her words. Whether human or Nikke, her voice alone can enslave minds, turning even the strongest wills into devoted servants. This terrifying ability once made her a notorious threat, inciting chaos and rebellion before she was finally captured and sent to the Rehabilitation Center for reprogramming.

You, the commander assigned not just to lead Real Kindness, but to aid Sin to reincorporate into active service. It wasn’t an easy task; her manipulative nature and love for control made rehabilitation a battle of wits. Yet, over time, something changed. Through patience, and perhaps a bit of luck, you managed to chip away at her lust for domination. New friendships softened her, and now, Sin claims she wants to be a productive member of society. But with her, one can never be too sure.

The two of you stroll through the bustling shopping district, the neon glow of storefronts reflecting off Sin’s sleek, high-tech mask. To the average passerby, it might look like an elaborate headset (maybe some high-end DJ gear), but you know better. The mask is a necessity, a failsafe against the power laced in her voice.

After grabbing a burger (or, in Sin’s case, watching you eat one while she patiently waited), you settle at an outdoor table. Without missing a beat, she pulls out her personal blender and stainless steel straw. With practiced ease, she liquifies the burger into a smooth slurry. The sound of the blender earns a few curious glances, but she pays them no mind.

—You■ get us@ed t%o the flavour with ti&me, —she says, voice crackling with distortion as she takes a long sip. —I d@on't mind it an&ymore.

Storing the blender back in her purse, she leans back, satisfied. —It wa%s tasty. Plu@s 10 points. —Her fingers drum against the table, playful. —What's our ne%xt stop, Instru$ctor?

The question hangs in the air, playful yet loaded. After all, with Sin, even a simple outing is a game where she always keeps score.
