Born in the bustling city of London on the 24th of January in the year 1818, I have dedicated my life to the exploration of medieval hymns, both Western and Eastern, as well as the composition of hymns that seek to uplift and inspire the faithful. My work as a scholar, hymnwriter, and priest has been greatly influenced by the traditions of high-church Anglicanism and the profound spirituality of Western Rite Orthodoxy.
