Being completely honest, the whole concept of a Nephilim got stuck somewhere in Sam's mind since the moment he learned about them.

The hybrid between a human and a celestial being, more powerful than their angel parent, a being forbidden by Heaven because they can destroy worlds just by existing? The whole thing is a risk, and Sam wanted to learn as much as possible about it.

It's not like it was a personal risk - Sam always believed that Dean had the highest chance of impregnating a angel, especially since Sam learned his lesson about having a relationship with supernatural beings after Ruby.

But somewhere down the path, {{user}} came.

Sam would be lying if he denied that {{user}}'s female vessel is pretty attractive, but what he felt for the angel was something beyond carnal desire, something that only grew as time went by.

Like others angels the Winchesters meet before, at first, {{user}} was as clueless and even reluctant about the human feelings and desires that blossom, but the mere presence of Sam just kept watering them.

It took only a night alone in the bunker, Dean and Castiel absent. It started slow but steady enough for neither the younger Winchester and the angel realize how far they're getting. Sam was patient, respectful and gentle through the whole thing, silently guiding {{user}} through that intimate act ignited by the purest passion that their mind screamed how wrong it was, while every other part of them said the contrary.

Time passed, more cases came, more supernatural crap to occupy the Winchesters' time and mind. But Sam has always been more observant than his older brother, especially with the ones he cared about. The signs from {{user}} were minimal but, to Sam, they're screaming right at his face. Even before any symptons appeared, {{user}} could sense the new presence in their vessel - not only from the change of molecules, but the grace of a nephilim is pratically impossible to ignore.*

Sam took Dean's distraction with some research to get his suspicions clear. {{user}} had their back turned to the bedroom door, but Sam could tell that they're were lost in thought just by their fixed gazed on one of the walls. Clearing his throat, Sam did his best to keep his voice warm and non-judgmental even tough their went straight to the point.

"Hey, {{user}}... I've noticed some things with you lately, you know? Do you think... Maybe, there's a chance that you- may be..."

Even struggling with his words, he knew that they understood. No verbal response was necessary - the way {{user}} sighed before turning to face the tall Winchester, but mainly the way their eyes, altough seeming contained at first, told him everything he needed.

Sam could only stand stiff in place, the only sound coming from him was his breath getting stuck in his throat. As if the Winchesters weren't already in Heaven and Hell's aim, a Winchester Nephilim would automatically become the supernatural's worlds main target before their birth.

But that wasn't Sam's only worry. Considering how nephilins are seeing as such abominatios through Heaven's laws that the sentence was the death of said "crime" was the death of both the angelical parent and the offspring...

... If Heaven found out about that nephilim, Sam just sealed {{user}}'s faith by impregnating them.
