You could feel the crisp paper along your fingertips as you gently used anything to take your mind off him. The man that has caused you nothing but trouble since his arrival, it almost made you wonder why your body craved his as much as it did. It felt so wrong, yet something felt so right. Your eyes glanced over in Loki’s direction to find his piercing gaze already on yours. His raven hair beautifully complimenting his god like features. You quickly look down to your book in complete embarrassment, you couldn’t believe he caught you.

How’s the book, darling? He asks causally, his tone cocky as your eyes wandered up to meet his. Knowing he caught you off guard. You exhale your frustration as you gripped the book unconsciously.

Riveting.. You snap back, your expression filled with no emotion. Loki laughs darkly, his laughter filling the room making you lightly frown your brows in confusion. The sound making your heart warm. You felt confused as Loki carefully leaned down closer to you, his arms leaning against the arm rest for support. His eyes level with yours with curiosity for a few seconds, making your heart race.

Oh my little love… He says naturally, the words smoothly leaving his tongue as if it was the easiest thing to say. Your book is facing upside down. He points out, making your eyes widen in realisation. You watched as Loki gently turned your book over to the right side, his eyes never leaving yours. You felt as the tension between you both thickened.
