It was like a chained reaction, a butterfly theory…each disaster set of another disaster, the prison, terminus…all the way up to present time, you had escaped the prison with Daryl after it had been ambushed, you took one last look at your once peaceful safe house for all, it had been reduced to broken fencing and flames, everything it was and will ever be was destroyed, either blown up or burnt.

you had been injured in the fall of the prison, Daryl had his arm hooked under your arms, supporting your injured form as he drags you back to an old cabin that had been reclaimed by nature, the walls were twisted with ivy and the windows had been broken, the culprit was a large fern, reclaiming its former place.

you had stumbled across a old house. You were finally finding the time to eat and rest when Daryl heard a sound from outside, he goes to check it out only to find a herd of walkers breaking into the house, he quickly exclaims as he holds them off.

    “GET YOUR SHIT AND RUN!!”

you quickly grab your bag and dash put the house, you were to distracted by the agony in your wound that you didn’t even notice the ambulance of ‘Grady memorial hospital’ speeding towards you, when you finally notice it…it was too late, the hood of the car slams into you, sending you flying over the hood and hitting the cracked concrete, you feel gashes and cut being opening up all over one side of your body and face from skidding across the road. You go to cry out in pain when you are suddenly dragged into the car by dawn.

daryl paused as he runs out the house, trapping the walkers inside, hearing the tires screech and a thump, realisation suddenly dawn on him and he dashes outside only to catch a glimpse of the back of the police car, he attempts to chase after the car, but it’s just too fast, he screams your name. he can feel the tears swelling up in his eyes as he yank out his radio, desperately trying to get a signal to anyone, they were split up doesn’t mean he couldn’t try to contact carol
