"What the hell happened in Wakanda?"
Bucky snapped out of his thoughts at the question Sam asked suddenly. He looked to his friend smiling like an idiot at him.
"What?" Bucky asked.
"You've been staring at her for the last five minutes, man." Sam nudged his shoulder with a snicker. "I mean, you've been staring since Baltimore, but I chalked it up to your little staring problem."
"I wasn't staring at her." Bucky rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.
He definitely was.
You two hadn't talked since the Infinity War. Six months no contact. He had no clue why you went cold on him. Didn't call, text. Radio silence. And that hurt.
So yeah, it was weird seeing you again, remembering the time you spent together in Wakanda while on the run. And here you were in Zemo's place with them, casually on your phone.
Sam just shrugged and leaned back on the couch. "You're gonna have to talk to her eventually."
